My initial thoughts are that this is a pretty interesting presentation program. I thought I wouldn't be impressed, but I was! Read more here.

It's been quite arty this week... There's still a fair chunk of pathway assignment to be done, so as that means I won't have much of a weekend it was nice to have a bit of a creative day today.
That's Rafiki from the Lion King on the left there. Apparently Rafiki means 'friend' in Swahili, so there's a little fact thrown in for good measure. See the image below for our take on creating puppets for a 'traditional' tale - we think the Lion King is a bit of a classic  these days!

Anyway - back to the website. I've added an Animoto review in the Animation and Stories section, please feel free to have a peek.

Thought I'd take a moment between Reflection Points and Pathway Essays to add a bit of information about app-creation using Blippit (see Apps page).
Despite being a bit of a novice in the world of app-creation I was quite looking forward to getting stuck in, so naturally I was rather disappointed when I found the site a little frustrating to use. It's getting clearer now though, so i'll be adding

Managed to use some of my Spanish music resources in Uni this week; seemed to have a positive impact on other group members so hopefully there'll be lots of musical MFL lessons in the future.

New addition today (eventually) is a section on the English Wiki. See Other Resources page.

As Spanish speakers among you will have already gleaned from this blog title, the weather has turned a little bit chilly here in Manchester (and elsewhere by all accounts)...

Anyway, our music session today centred on a picture of Andromache, so we took this Ancient Greek theme and ran with it into our D&T session. The result? Why, the Trojan Horse of course. Unfinished. But still very much a horse.

Website additions today are in the 'ICT on GPP' section and include some information on my wall display.

Splash Phonics added to ICT on GPP section, and also some initial thoughts on ICT Science resources used during GPP.

It seems that a lot of ICT uses that I have noted from GPP are just various websites as opposed to particular resources. Perhaps this is a sign of the times, with money being saved by largely sticking to free online materials.
